Guided by Jesus' last words to his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20,
Senior Pastor Richard West felt a call to overseas missions from his early days in Bible School. So, he jumped into training.


Eventually, the Lord spoke to him to change his focus to pastoral ministry. But with this emphasis: raising up a church to send and support gospel missions throughout the world.


Since its inception in 1991, Liberty Church has committed to the sending and support of  missionaries and gospel work globally while building a strong local outreach church in Fairfield.


In time, we built our mission's emphasis as a church. We've been privileged to work locally and in 20 nations around the world.
And we're not stopping anytime soon!

Pastor Richard has traveled extensively throughout West Africa in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, as well as the Philippines, China, Japan, India, Romania, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kuwait training over 37,000 pastors and leaders in more than 20 countries since 1984 equipping, training and helping to plant more than 317 churches throughout many of these counties.

In March of 2023 Richard was invited into a new network to train pastors in over 150,000 churches across South east Asia. He is a passionate missionary pastor that wants to see transformation to Solano County and across South east Asia

    In the Community

        We support local schools, serving students and teachers with supplies, special teacher recognition, student mentorship, and tutoring. We’ve reached into low-income neighborhoods with material and spiritual support. 


        We also partnered with Fairfield Police in community engagement activities – reducing crime and bringing safer streets to our community. Through the love of God, we have seen many individuals in these neighborhoods come to life-saving faith in Christ!

    Liberia

        These trips are centered around assisting the orphanages Liberty supports. We provide limited medical care, life-skill training, and encouragement to children affected by war and severe poverty.


        Cost: $3,500

    Philippines

        Travel throughout the Philippines, telling people about the eternal joy of knowing Jesus. The focus of the mission in the Philippines is evangelistic.

    Romania

        These trips are construction-based. All are welcome to apply, but we specifically need electricians, plumbers, concrete finishers, dry-wallers, stucco, painters, and landscapers.
